Black Spruce Essential Oil
Our spruce oils are wildcraft harvested from the Boreal Forest that spreads almost across the entire face of Canada from British Columbia all the way to the edge of Labrador.

Main Constituents: α-pinene: 20.1 and Bornyl Acetate : 19.7%

Description / colour / Consistency: A thin, colourless to pale yellow liquid.
Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A top note of medium strength. Soft and much less sharp than most pine oils. It is subtle and almost sweet in its camphor aroma. Spruce is traditionally used in saunas. In perfumery it is a top note and its strength is medium.
Blends well with: Pine, Cedarwood, Galbanum, Benzoin, Lavender and Rosemary.
