Rose Otto Essential Oil
Botanical Name: Rosa damascena p. Mill

Description / colour / Consistency: Viscous, golden to amber resin to solid.
Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: Turkish Rose Otto(Rosa damascena p. Mill) has a classic unmistakable rose scent. Being that this is an Otto, the scent is highly concentrated, even more so than the Rose Absolute that we offer. Only a fraction of a drop is needed. In perfumery it is a Middle to Top Note and the Strength of the Aroma is considered Strong and Long Lasting.
Blends well with: Rose generally blends well with all oils, though it works particularly well with Bergamot, Chamomile German, Chamomile Roman, Clary Sage, Geranium, Melissa, Rosewood, Sandalwood, and Ylang-ylang.
Steam Distillation is a much more labor intensive process than solvent extraction. Depending on the temperature of the oil it may be in a slight gelatinous state or have crystallized slightly. It is easily remedied by warming in your hands or by immersing the bottle in a warm a water bath up to just below the neck of the bottle.
When you purchase our oils I recommend speaking to a health professional before beginning any kind of topical application. Some oils may interfere with prescription medication, homeopathic remedy or your present health condition.
